Sage boards withstand temperatures of up to 350 degrees F and can be used as a trivet for hot pans. However they should not be used in ovens or microwaves.
Our material is dense enough to prevent damaging the board by cutting into it, but not so dense as to damage your knife's edge.
Both sides can be used as a cutting surface.
